This conference is specifically focuses on the needs and concerns of preservice art teachers, which can be overlooked in the professional development world of art education.

generates early interest, involvement and advocacy for art education
gives preservice students an opportunity to present
Presenters will cover topics including (but not limited to!) diversity equity & inclusion, lesson planning, classroom management, disability/accessibility, creativity, assessment, creative technologies, museum resources, art education history, and criticism.
The Preservice Art Education Conference is hosted by the Miami University Art Education program.
